Although it was gloomy and colder than I had anticipated, there was still good visibility. A tiny prelude to Denmark's topography, the bridge offered views of a number of smaller islands. The sea was glistening, and man had placed himself with the natural features everywhere the eye met land masses on the horizon. In contrast to Germany, the bridge is swiftly crossed, and the roads in Denmark are just empty. How many of the 5 million individuals that call Denmark home are on this bridge? However, the nation's main thoroughfare crosses this bridge, linking the continent with Sweden and Copenhagen. Despite this, there is very little traffic.
Without much focus, we made our way nearly to Odense, the biggest city on the island of Funen. I let the scenery take over during that time. The scant population and latitude. The view is expansive, and the terrain is quite hilly. You go south from Odense. The roadway gets even more deserted when you turn off the major lane. Completely abandoned. It's an odd sensation. We seem to be heading into utter desolation. This at least allowed me to collect my thoughts and impressions, compile them, and recognize that we are actually in a foreign place. Knowing and being able to visualize where I am on the atlas is usually a crucial time for me. The city of Svendborg, which the Danes refer to as Schwenbo, was the point at which civilization suddenly and briefly reminded them of themselves after a half-hour of travel. The administrative hub of the southern Danish region of Sjøddanmark, the second-biggest city on the island. We had crossed the island of Funen to the south and were on our way to the Svendborgsundbroen/Švenbosunbrøn bridge (Svendborgsundbroen, the bridge over the strait near Svendborg in Bulgarian), as the city is situated along the coast. In Danish, a sund is a location where the sea is closed, whereas a belt is a broad, expansive strait. Tosinge, the neighboring island, is reached by the bridge. You may get a unique view of the city's ports from the spectacular Svendborgsundbroen! The boats were parked like white seagulls on the beach, sheltered in little nooks! All the coves have yachts! There are piers of all sizes all around the island's coast—possibly hundreds! as well as the other coast. I attempted to capture shots of them from above, but the bridge railing is at eye level from where I was sitting in the car, and the camera cannot focus on what the human eye can see at that speed. Unfortunately. I tried to snap pictures and movies every time I went by after that, but nothing could capture the instant impression!
